Reimagining a career site to reflect its corporate brand

Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH) is an advanced, tertiary, 400-bed medical center with 2,100+ employees and more than 800 primary and specialty physicians on staff. In the past 50 years, BRRH had evolved from a capable community hospital into one of South Florida’s preeminent medical centers.


BRRH could no longer ignore the fact that its career site was clearly disconnected from its overarching branded message: “One Team. One Mission.” Unrelated messaging pillars, as well as dissimilar photography, imagery, typefaces and color schemes, diluted the strong corporate brand. It also created a void between the hospital and its talent acquisition efforts that alienated jobseekers.


In less than three weeks, Bayard ideated, designed and delivered a completely revitalized and reimagined career site. Using the hospital’s primary branded message as the site’s theme, we incorporated an intuitive, contemporary and inviting User Experience (UX). The dramatically different site created an engaging online experience, enabling candidates to easily pursue and evaluate career opportunities.


The new site experienced an influx of candidate traffic and increased conversions, which soon translated into a decreased number of open positions. Internally, the response was so overwhelmingly positive that BRRH asked us to expand the site. Phase II of the career site found us focusing on employee benefits and taking deeper dive into the employee experience at BRRH.
