With layoffs and hiring freezes are sweeping across headlines, the job market is looking pretty bleak amongst job seekers. Industries like tech and the residential lending sectors seem to be taking a hit, causing job seekers in these industries to pause for fear of instability. Louis Naviasky, Bayard’s CEO, urges job seekers to keep looking and remain hopeful.
“It’s important to ‘read past the headlines’, the financial sector is still hungry for tech talent, as are companies like Nike, which had almost 400 tech jobs open at the time of this writing.”
