  • Being able to be your true, authentic self. Loving who you are and acknowledging the steps you have taken or continue to take despite any challenges you’ve faced.

  • Pride means being exactly who you are with no apologies. It means living the life you’re meant to live and empowering others to do the same!

  • I fall in the LGBTQ+ spectrum, but also feel that if I did not, I would still have a connection to the community through my family, and those I choose to call friends. Pride is the ability to surround myself with a phenomenal support group, who gets the opportunity to try and understand who I am, who I have been, and who I am constantly evolving into. Please note that sometimes the act of “just being yourself” is a revolutionary act for many because just by existing, they are smashing ideas of who society and others think they should be and how they should act.

  • Pride means remembering the people who paved the way for me to be who I am and honoring them by living my truth and being an example for others to follow. It’s about honoring oneself and being unapologetically me.
